Test Debut:  India v Pakistan at New Delhi, 16-18, Oct 1952

Khan Mohammad played as an opening bowler who shared the new ball with Fazal Mahmood. He also holds the distinction of bowling Pakistan's first ball and taking Pakistan's first wicket in Test cricket.

In Kingston in 1957-58, against West Indies when Garry Sobers made his 365 not out, Khan Mohammad toiled through 54 overs and returned figures of 0-259, the worst Test bowling figures in a single innings. On a happier note he once bowled Len Hutton in a Test match for a duck, at Lord's in 1954.
